Free Domain Rating
Checker
Type any domain to see its domain rating from 0 to 100, how many sites link to it, and the strongest of them.
What domain rating means
Domain rating is a score from 0 to 100 for how strong the links pointing at a website are. A site that many strong sites link to scores high, and a new site with no links scores close to 0.
This checker reads the score from DataForSEO's backlink index, the same data Rillow gives AI agents. Ahrefs (Domain Rating), Moz (Domain Authority) and Semrush (Authority Score) make similar scores from their own crawls, so one site gets a different number in each tool. Compare sites with numbers from the same tool.
Google doesn't use any of these scores. It does count links when it ranks pages, which is why the score helps you guess whether a site can compete for a search.

How to use the domain rating checker
Check your own site
Type your domain, like yoursite.com. Subdomains count toward the same domain, so blog.yoursite.com is included.
Check the sites above you
Search Google for the phrase you want to rank for, and check the domains in the top 10.
Pick searches you can win
If the top 10 have ratings close to yours, a better page can win. If they're far higher, choose a narrower search where weaker sites rank, and come back to the big one once more sites link to you.
Let your agent compare ratings while it plans
Checking ten domains by hand for every search gets slow. When your AI agent is connected to Rillow, each keyword idea comes with the average domain rating of the pages in Google's top 10, next to your site's own rating. Your agent can also list the sites that link to any competitor and pick the ones worth asking for a link.

Frequently Asked Questions
No. Ahrefs calculates its Domain Rating from its own crawl of the web, and this rating comes from DataForSEO's backlink index. Both run from 0 to 100 and both are built from the links pointing at a site, so they usually rank sites in a similar order, but the numbers for one site differ. Compare sites using one tool's numbers.
No. Domain rating is a score SEO tools calculate from their own link data, and Google doesn't read it. Links from other sites are part of how Google ranks pages, so the score is still a quick way to compare how strong two sites' links are.
It depends on the sites you compete with. Check the sites in Google's top 10 for the searches you want to win. If your rating is close to theirs, links are probably not what keeps you below them, and the page itself matters more. If theirs are much higher, start with searches where the top results have lower ratings.
Get more websites to link to yours. Listings in directories your customers use, guest posts, and free tools or data that other people cite all earn links. One link from a strong site in your field moves the rating more than many links from weak sites.
DataForSEO keeps crawling the web, so a new link can take some time to show up. A domain someone checked here in the last 7 days shows that result again for free. You can run 3 new checks a day.
DataForSEO has no links from other sites to that domain on record. New sites, and sites no one links to yet, show this. Check the spelling of the domain too.
Your agent can do this for every page
Your agent sees the domain rating of the sites in Google's top 10 next to your own, and picks searches your site can win.
